On Mind and Body Connection
Our thoughts can have an impact upon our body, and our body can have an impact on our thoughts. Sometimes we find it difficult to express emotions which then can have an impact on our body. It is vital to build a bridge linking mind and body. Mindfulness Counselling can create awareness and change, a stronger mind and a stronger body.
Studies have shown that when we become aware or mindful by observing our thoughts, feelings, sensations and behaviours without judgment, we can respond and be more compassionate towards our self and others. This will open up more options and improves the quality of your life. In other words, learning to relate to thoughts and emotions in a different way will decrease the intensity and frequency of your issues and distress.
The first step is to make a commitment and take some time to focus on yourself and what changes you would like to make in your life.
